Every Life Matters (ELM) Peer Support Group

Operating in Castlemaine and the Mount Alexander Shire, the group meets as a hybrid group, both face to face and online for each meeting. The ELM Peer Support Group meets monthly and is open to anyone who has been affected by the death of another by suicide. The group is friendly, open and warm, and aims to provide a place for sharing, discussion and hope, and to reduce social isolation and stigma around suicide. We are an open group so anyone is free to attend a meeting any month that suits them. The group is run by volunteers who have lost someone they love to suicide, and have been trained to help support others.
